I was not watching snow. I was dancing on sand enveloped in humidity.

It’s already been 365 days since Alvin and Janice’s Boracay wedding beach bash!

The couple promised it was to be a “celebration of love, laughter, friendship and family.”

True to their word, it was. And it was perfect!

bourbon salmon, without the bourbon

Bitter cold days are best spent getting creative in the kitchen. I did today! I kept toasty near the stove and cooked some salmon for lunch. The recipe called for Bourbon but I had to tweak it since we were less the needed bottle. I pan fried it and baked it in the oven to cook it thoroughly and drizzled it with my super awesome secret sauce! LOL. Aimee was happy! It’s always nice bonding over a good meal with great friends. Another thing to keep one warm in this unrelenting nippy weather. 

I will be off for another week and I plan on spending those days packing on holiday pounds! I’ve really been meaning to catch up on my culinary ventures and there’s no better time than this season. Do you have any to die for recipes you wanna share?
